These terms explain the conditions for using https://hexcopy.com.

1. Our Service

HexCopy provides free tools for discovering, generating, converting, checking, previewing, and exporting colors.

No visitor account is required. Features may be updated or changed as the website develops.

2. Acceptable Use

Use HexCopy lawfully and without interfering with the service or other visitors.

Do not attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, deliberately overload the website, or bypass security measures.

3. Your Images and Materials

You retain your rights in images and other materials you use with the tools. You are responsible for having permission to use them.

Selecting an image for local color extraction does not transfer ownership of that image to HexCopy.

4. Using Color Results

You may use color values and generated combinations in personal and commercial projects.

A palette does not grant rights to another person’s artwork, photographs, branding, or trademarks. HexCopy does not guarantee that a combination is exclusive or unique.

5. Website Materials

HexCopy’s branding, interface, original guides, and other website materials are separate from the color values generated by its tools. Permission to use tool results does not grant permission to copy or redistribute the website itself.

6. Review Results Before Use

Check outputs before using them in a final project.

Colors may vary across screens and printing processes. Approximate color conversions do not replace professional print-proofing. Contrast results evaluate particular color pairs and do not establish complete accessibility compliance.

7. Saved Palettes

Saved palettes depend on browser storage. Clearing storage, changing browsers, or losing access to your device may remove access to them.

Export important palettes rather than relying on browser storage as your only copy.

8. Availability and Liability

We aim to provide useful tools, but uninterrupted availability and error-free results are not guaranteed.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available, without warranties of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. HexCopy is not responsible for losses resulting from reliance on unchecked outputs.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
